capabilities,
coupled with having
a VOC of 2.8 lbs/gal
and 84% zinc in the
dry film.
Creative formulation
has produced an
inorganic zinc
primer that can be
applied at package
viscosity with no
thinning required to
steel structures
with tight angles
and result in a
smooth, uniform, dry
spray free film that
is easily held to a
dry film thickness
of 2.5 - 3.5 mils.
This product is
capable of being top
coated and handled
within 16 hours or
less given the
proper curing
conditions.
This versatility
coupled with our
epoxy and
polyurethane
technology allows
for the opportunity
to complete the
application of a
solvent borne
inorganic zinc
primer based, 2.8
lbs/gal VOC, three
coat system in one
day. The
performance of
Chem-IOZ 2.8 and the
systems using it as
a primer meet or
exceed the highest
standards set for
