Application
Application method: Airless spray / Air spray / Air assisted spray / HVLP / Brush & Roller
Thinner: Acetone, tBAc or Oxsol to maintain VOC level; Xylene or Aromatic 100 if VOC is not an issue. Thin by 5% – 20% maximum. For Brush & Roller, use Oxsol to maintain VOC, or Aromatic 100 if VOC is not an issue.
Nozzle orifice: 0.015" – 0.019", airless
Nozzle pressure: 2,000 psi [138 bar] (Airless spray data are indicative and subject to adjustment)
Cleaning of tools: Aromatic solvents, MEK, or lacquer thinners
Indicated film thickness, dry: 1.5 – 2.0 mils / 38 – 50 microns
Indicated film thickness, wet: 2.7 – 3.7 mils / 69 – 91 microns
Overcoat interval, min: 3 hours, 20°C/68°F
